Would enjoy a remake on the video. We have always made Frito Pie a couple of different ways. The first was in the Frito bag, you pour some chili over the Frito’s,sprinkle cheese, add some diced onions, tomatoes and a dollop of sour cream (optional) The second method was baked in the oven. I have never tried it with enchilada sauce and ground beef. My mouth is watering thinking of this new recipe. Definitely cooking this for dinner today. Sounds soooo yummy.

The interruptions,blurting out/ off topic questions are so rude and very annoying!She is interrupting him every chance she gets, every time he attempts to speak and provide instructions on what I assumed to be a demonstration/ recipe on how to make “Frito Pie” Why not just rename the title of the video to “Chatter in the kitchen,while my hubby cooks“? Why didn’t you just join him in the video and ask all of those questions? Let’s forget about the “Frito Pie” recipe. I was unable to hear him anyway. PERIOD!

PSA never use flaxseed oil, I had to strip mine to nothing, it flaked in a couple months. I just did the first seasoning with grapeseed, and it came out an amazing copper color. Im going to do a second seasoning now.

In Canada we had a similar dish called "shipwreck"

One more thing. I was given a wonderful rusty cast iron pot from a family member. do you have a remedy that would bring it back to life.

Canadian here….. your French accent isn’t quite there however the English speaking provinces say it exactly the same way. Shredded mozzarella works in a pinch for sure. Try putting pulled pork or even burnt ends in there. Takes it to a whole new level.

Onion bumpers... Never heard that said before. But I do like the idea 💡. The little trick about clearing the fire ring... Learned that back in Scouts growing up. The only thing that was missing from that pot roast was bread and butter alongside.😁 I learned to cook from my Mom and her Mom...Like you Mr. Rollins they both taught me about life and cooking. Miss them both....Mom passed on while I was over in Afghanistan in 2010 with the Marines.
